Forty Thieves Irish Pub | Application Preview
Forty Thieves Irish Pub is seeking government grants to complete their restaurant in Lutz, Florida, focusing on essential installations like plumbing and electrical work. The business has already invested $150,000 in furniture, fixtures, and lease deposits.
The owners highlight a gap in the market, as there are no authentic Irish pubs in the region, and they believe their establishment will thrive in the area's growth. With a family legacy of building Irish pubs for 20 years, the owner has deep roots in the business.
They emphasize the uniqueness of their concept, which resonates with the historical struggles of Irish immigrants beginning in 1825. The pub aims to offer authentic Irish cuisine, an extensive selection of Irish whiskeys, and community engagement through cultural events such as St. Patrick's Day celebrations, Irish dancing, and educational programs about the Irish immigrant experience.
In terms of competition, the owners express disappointment with local establishments that they feel misrepresent Irish culture for profit. They assert their competitive advantage lies in being a genuine Irish pub, with personal connections to the community and military, including a father who served in the U.S. Navy. This authenticity is a key element of their business model, setting them apart from competitors.

Business Plan
Not a real Irish pub restaurant in the area and area is growing My family has been building Irish pubs for 20 years this is the business I grew in. My concept is unique in that it is beyond authentic the Forty Thieves Brand recall the struggles the irish went through when they started coming in mass to New York in 1825 this was the first recognized Irish organized group and it went on from there. We serve Irish food we carry the largest selection of Irish whiskeys and we embrace the community by organizing cultural events including st Patrick’s day celebration Irish dancing. Irish music. Eduction regarding the history of the struggle of the Irish immigrant from Colonial times to present. To inform and educate the people regarding the how all immigrant communities have and continue influence the communities we all live in.
