PhysioBaby Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC | Application Preview
PhysioBaby Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC is seeking government grants to establish a physical clinic dedicated to infant and child therapy. The funding will be used for essential setup costs, including flooring, wall construction, paint, furniture, lighting, marketing, and therapy materials.
The business has a five-year plan to expand its team to at least four specialized therapists and to create a multidisciplinary clinic offering various services, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, lactation consulting, emotional support, and nutrition guidance. While the focus will primarily be on the clinic, limited home visits will be provided for patients with special needs. Once the first clinic reaches capacity, a second location will be opened with additional pediatric therapists. Additionally, community support classes will be offered to assist families in optimizing their children's early development.
PhysioBaby has shown significant growth over the past three years, currently facing demand that has resulted in a waitlist for services. The business’s commitment to providing high-quality therapy uniquely positions it to serve a demographic that often faces challenges in accessing necessary care. The funding is crucial for establishing a brick and mortar location to expand services and improve access for more families. The company has demonstrated financial responsibility, operating without debt and maintaining positive balances to date.
PhysioBaby believes it has a competitive edge due to its special focus on infant and child therapy with a holistic approach, addressing both physical development and emotional well-being. This unique model sets it apart from other providers, allowing comprehensive care under one roof and ensuring lasting developmental success for children.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years, I plan to increase the number of therapists specialized in infant and child therapy to at least 4 therapists in a brick and mortar clinic. My aim is to achieve a multidisciplinary clinic that includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, lactation consulting, emotional support therapy, nutrition, etc. We will still provide a limited number of home visits to patients that are immunocompromised or otherwise unable to leave the home. Once the initial clinic is to capacity, I will open a second location with additional highly trained pediatric therapists. We will also provide community support classes and groups to help children and families optimize growth and motor development in the early years. PhysioBaby is a business born from a passion to serve infants and young children with therapy services that are often difficult to access within the community. I have demonstrated success in business growth over the last three years, now operating on a waitlist due to demand for high quality services. As specialists in infant and child therapy, we are able to establish successful developmental patterns that will last a lifetime, including motor milestones, feeding success, emotional health and wellness, and beyond. Funding would enable PhysioBaby to successfully establish a brick and mortar clinic so that more patients may be seen for multidisciplinary therapy and wellness services all in one center. We have demonstrated financial responsibility, maintaining net positive balances and without any debt. However, to take this leap to the next step of a brick and mortar clinic, financial resources are imperative.

Self Identified Competition
I do not have any competitors that I am able to identify because very few physical therapists and other therapy practices specialize in therapy for infants and young children with our holistic approach. Our specialty is infant and child therapy from a holistic approach, embracing all dynamics of development. We address body and structure issues with manual therapy and then optimize motor skill development with neurodevelopmental facilitation. We aim to achieve milestones and attain lasting improvement in overall function with a multidisciplinary approach so that a family can have the convenience of multi-specialty therapy providers all in one center.
