    Starting a recruitment business can take 3-6 months to build up the business before seeing any revenue come in. As a one man shop, this money would help me fund the business and my life while I ramp it up.

    I plan to stay as a solo shop for the first two years. During that time I will build a solid book of clients that I can rely on. After 2 years, I expect to have more work that I can handle on my own. At that time I will hire on 2 other employees to support the growth. They will serve as a recruiter and account manager to help support both sides of the business. I am a recruiter for all of the right reasons, I want to develop relationships and make a positive change in peoples lives. Many recruiters are in it just for the money, I genuinely love recruiting and seeing the smile on peoples faces when they land their dream job.

  • Self Identified Competition

    Vanderhowen, Mainz Brady and Boly Welsch. These are all small recruitment firms in Portland that would compete with me directly. As a solo shop, I will add a personal touch that other firms will not. All of my clients and candidates will work directly with me. I will be able to allow cheaper rates for clients that cannot afford a large recruitment firm. Lastly, I have experience recruiting internally for companies like Nike and T-Mobile. During my time there I developed relationships that will allow me to bring in new clients immediately.
