The Community Project | Application Preview
The Community Project is seeking a $20,000 government grant to support fundraising efforts, program fees, and marketing expenses. The nonprofit aims to enhance its official website to increase visibility and attract volunteers for future projects and fundraisers.
The organization highlights its potential impact through its core initiatives: the Future Entrepreneur Program, which educates participants of all ages on business skills to empower them to become self-sufficient, and the Making Dreams a Reality Program, designed to assist underprivileged community members. An example of the latter is the Essentials Pantry, which provides essential items to those in need, offering them a level of comfort in their daily lives.
In terms of competition, The Community Project stands out due to its inclusive focus on serving the entire community, as opposed to targeting specific demographics. While local organizations like Kinship of Tomahawk, The Salvation Army, and Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers cater to specific groups, The Community Project’s programs address broader needs, making it a valuable asset for the community. This comprehensive approach enhances its appeal to potential investors.

Business Plan
The Community Project plans to continue updating and adding to the official website, so people know who and what the non profit is about. The Community Project also plans to continue to collect volunteers to help with fundraisers and bigger projects. Investors should invest in The Community Project because with the, "Future Entrepreneur Program" and the "Making Dreams a Reality Program", we are able to help a large number of people in the community. The entrepreneur program helps people of all ages learn the ins and outs of running a business to eventually be their own boss. The "Making Dreams a Reality" program was created to help the underprivileged/struggling members of the community. One example of this is the Essentials pantry that was made to bring people a little more comfort in their lives knowing that they now have the necessities for everyday life.

Self Identified Competition
Kinship of Tomahawk is a non profit organization that focuses on helping the youth in the community. They provide services such as a youth mentoring program, as well as a family resource center. The Salvation Army of Tomahawk is a non profit organization that is focused on helping the poor and less fortunate in the community by providing a food pantry so no one goes hungry. Tomahawk Area Interfaith Volunteers is a program focused on the elderly and disabled in the community. They do this by providing services such as companionship, chores, and transportation. The Community Project is different from competitors because the focus is on everyone in the community, not necessarily just one group of people. There are two main programs that help The Community Project reach people in need. The " Future Entrepreneur Program" was created for people of all ages to learn the ins and outs of running a business to become their own boss. The "Making Dreams a Reality Program" was created to help the underprivileged/struggling members of the community. One example of this is the Essentials Pantry that was made to give people and opportunity to live more comfortably with the necessities of life.
