Inspire Academy 88-2854018 | Government Grant Application

Inspire Academy | Application Preview

Inspire Academy is seeking government grant funding to establish the first indoor sports facility in Butte, Montana, aimed at benefiting youth and athletes throughout the state. This facility will not only enhance athletic skills but also provide a safe and positive space for young people, steering them away from negative influences.

The proposed facility is expected to contribute significantly to the local economy and provide year-round training opportunities, regardless of weather conditions. As the founder of Montana's first sports academy for kids, the applicant highlights the urgent need for such a facility, which would allow various sports teams to practice and grow. Plans for the next five years include hosting indoor games and tournaments for football, soccer, and lacrosse, along with community youth events.

The applicant argues that the funding is essential, as many youngsters currently miss out on sports due to harsh winter weather. By investing in this facility, the program aims to foster better athletes, improve performance, and create a more positive community environment.

Currently, the only existing indoor sports facility in Montana is located in Billings, making this proposed location unique and essential for easier access. The competitive advantage lies in the applicant's extensive experience as a personal and sports trainer, as well as their commitment to community development and mentorship. The vision is to create a nurturing environment that supports the next generation of leaders in Montana through sport.

  • Funding Usage

Building the first indoor sports facility in Butte Montana. This will be huge for the future youth and athletes all around montana. Will not only elevate their skills but will give them a positive outlet to go to and not be on the streets.

  • Business Plan

Obtaining these funds to construct an indoor facility in Butte would add to the economical development of the area and Montana. I own the first sports academy for kids here in Montana, having a place where athletes from all over can come train, play and elevate their skills would just be the beginning of it. I want this for the community! Having a place to train & play even when the weather isn’t so favorable would be huge in the development of many athletes in this State. Teams can practice, new sports can be prioritized due to not having the weather hindering them and not only do I see this facility growing and expanding, but I highly believe that this will effect change in the generations to come. Within the next 5 years we plan to host indoor football games, Soccer games, Lacrosse matches, hold a number of sports related events and even events for the youth in the community! I am the originator of the Horizons 7v7 league and having an indoor facility would allow us to host multiple games & tournament’s year round. We are also in the process of hosting combines for all sports. An indoor facility would make performance better for all without the trouble of the cold weather This is a huge need in the State. Plenty of kids can’t participate in sports due to the cold weather in the winter. Many sports teams would benefit from having the indoor facility to train to better their performance. In turn, if we invest in the athletes and community now, it will only produce better athletes, better performances and a better/ more positive community.

  • Self Identified Competition

None! We would be the first to do so on the scale and level here in Montana. There is one indoor facility and that’s in Billings, MT. That’s quite a ways from a number of cities. Having something central to everyone would in fact draw in plenty of customers & sports teams. I am a personal trainer, sports trainer, avid community activist and a mentor to kids all around montana. My resume on the field speaks for itself and I want to bring something to Montana that nobody else has done before. I’m order to effect change, we must provide environments that communities can grow in & nurture the future leaders of tomorrow
