Funding Usage
I would use this money to help me with the down payment on a shop and any supplies needed to launch. I am seeking to solve logistical hurdles by finding a location that I can house my equipment and be able to manage the work and clients in one location. Right now I am having to schedule events at random spaces that I can find. It is a challenge both for the wax machine (because the wax needs to be melted before I get there), and the sound baths because not everywhere can allow noise like that. If I have my own shop, I will be able to do all of these arts in one place.

Business Plan
I would love to continue learning more about Holistic Healing Modalities and eventually become Certified as a Reiki Master, Crystal Healer, and Herbalist. I would then host individual healing sessions as well as group sound baths. Right now I can only do 4 people per candle class because I need more equipment, but over time I plan to purchase the extra equipment to allow me to double the class size and have 8 people each time instead. I offer something unique in the candle carving experience because nobody is doing that where I am located. There are a few candle carvers in the US still doing this kind of art but there are not many classes available so it is a true commodity in that regard. It is a good event for so many different groups and occasions. I am also already well known in the area so getting the word out has not been too difficult. There are also not that many Sound Healers in my area offering individual healing sessions. Even group sound baths often times include the Tibetan metal bowls but my approach is softer as I use the Quartz Crystal bowls for more gentle sounds.

Self Identified Competition
I've only found 1 Yoga Instructor offering sound healing baths in her studio. There are no competitors for the carved candles. I would be the only one doing that here. I'm the only one.
