Inspire Growth Educational Group 85-3263205 | Government Grant Application

Inspire Growth Educational Group | Application Preview

Inspire Growth Educational Group is seeking government grants to support various needs within their consulting firm. The funding will primarily be allocated to settle outstanding bills with 1800-accountant and Legal Zoom, purchase laptops or tablets for meetings and online trainings, and acquire promotional items featuring the company logo, such as shirts and flyers, to enhance brand awareness. Additionally, the funds will be used to develop online courses focused on professional development.

Looking ahead, Inspire Growth aims to expand its operations beyond its current state over the next five years, aiming to become a recognized consulting service nationwide. This expansion includes traveling across the country to collaborate with educational institutions and utilizing social media for marketing. The company envisions its online learning division growing to include a variety of customer-driven courses.

The grant application highlights the unique qualifications of its leadership, both of whom are African-American women with significant experience in professional learning. One owner holds a doctoral degree in organizational leadership focused on inclusivity, while the other is completing research on new teacher induction and support, addressing a critical issue of teacher retention. Their collective expertise allows the firm to offer a broad range of professional development services, including team building, leadership development, and instructional coaching.

In terms of competition, Inspire Growth identifies established rivals such as Lead Your School, Surge, and Two Chicks, well-known for their similar services in the Houston area. However, the firm sets itself apart by providing a diverse array of innovative learning opportunities grounded in research. While competitors may have more experience, Inspire Growth brings fresh ideas and a passionate commitment to their work.

  • Funding Usage

We will use the funds to pay outstanding bills for 1800-accountant and Legal Zoom. We need to purchase laptops or tablets to use for meetings and online trainings. We would like to purchase various items with company logo (shirts, flyers, tablecloth, etc.) to bring awareness to the company. Also, we would like to develop online courses for professional development which results in additional costs.

  • Business Plan

In the next five years, we plan take our company outside of the state to become a well-known consultation service. We want to have the ability to fly across the nation to meet with other educational institutions and organizations to offer our services. We plan to use social media platforms to market the company and reach a larger audience. In addition, our online learning division would have expanded to include several courses that meet our customers' needs. Our company is a consulting firm that is owned by two African-American women with a wealth of experience in professional learning. One of the owners has her doctoral degree in organizational leadership with a focus on inclusive and equitable environments. The other owner is completing her dissertation research in new teacher induction and supports. Teacher retention is affecting every state in the nation. Her research will help enhance our work with schools and help them develop systems to provide teachers with support (district and campuses). We also offer professional development and consulting in team building, leadership development, online learning facilitation, and instructional coaching.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our top three competitors are Lead Your School, Surge, and Two Chicks. They are well-known in the Houston area and have been established for several years. They offer team building and instructional coaching. Our business is different because we offer an array of professional learning opportunities (team building, leadership development, online learning facilitation, new teacher induction and supports, inclusive and equitable practices, and instructional coaching). We have presented at various conferences and have over 15 years of experience providing professional development. We love the content that we share and we have conducted research in various areas. The other companies are more experienced, but we are a fresh and new company with innovative ideas that is grounded in sound research.
