Luigi Autentico-Pizza by Luigi | Application Preview
Luigi Autentico-Pizza is seeking government grants to establish a stall in the Harvest Hall food court in Grapevine. The aim is to provide year-round employment for 4-6 staff while expanding the business beyond its current seasonal fluctuations. With over 30 years in the hospitality industry, Luigi wants to create a stable and successful venture for his family.
The business plan includes initial operations at the food court, with aspirations for future franchising. Luigi believes that securing funding will boost their prospects by offering the necessary support for this new venture. They have access to the previous owner's revenue data, which strengthens their confidence in the stall's potential success.
In terms of competition, they face Arepa, which offers small arepas, and Monkey King, with Asian cuisine. Luigi plans to differentiate their pizza offerings through quality and pricing, aiming for a menu that is both appealing and cost-effective for a food court environment. Overall, the funding will serve as a crucial stepping stone for achieving business stability and growth.

Business Plan
Hopefully the food court will be the first step of many. Planning in a small franchising. Coming from more than 30 years in the hospitality business, I always worked for others because I need stability for my family, now it’s time for me and my family to have a chance to grow and be successful. Our business it’s working but it’s up and down and seasonal we are “expanding” opening a pizza stall in a food court where our family will work with 4-6 employees. This will give us a year around stability and revenue growth. We aren’t asking to much just a little help that give us the security to start this new business. We have the previous owner two years revenues and we are very positive that this will be successful and can finally give our family the satisfactions we deserve working for ourselves.
-
Self Identified Competition
Arepa that makes small arepas and Monkey King that’s Asian Pizza with quality and price, planning a menu friendly for a food court and that will no impact our food cost or labor cost.
