Business Plan
I started my trucking business in March of 2022. The first six months, I worked with brokers, dispatchers and a few load boards to get access to loads. Four months ago, I was given the opportunity to start building a long term relationship with a well known company to transport general freight for. Because of this relationship, I am in a position to grow my business. Over the next five years, my plan is to purchase one tractor-trailer and hire one driver each year for the next five years. I will continue to educate myself in the trucking industry, seek advice from other trucking business owners and financial experts. Investing is all about taking risks. One thing is for sure is that the trucking industry is needed in order for our economy to survive in this country. As of right now, there is still a shortage of truckers in the USA and more truckers will be needed in order to keep our economy moving forward. Investing in my business will not only benefit me and my family but it will also benefit our economy and our country as a whole one truck at a time. My ultimate goal is to have a fleet of 100 plus trucks on the road transporting goods and services all throughout this country because I definitely want to be a part of the growth of this economy.

Self Identified Competition
The trucking industry is extremely competitive. Because there are low barriers to entering the industry, there’s no shortage of trucking companies, and shippers have plenty of choices in who they hire, which creates a significant amount of competition. However, drivers are still in high demand. Because of the demand of drivers, this gives small businesses like me an opportunity to grow in the trucking industry. This particular industry has plenty of room to grow and is needed in order for our economy to thrive in the United States. In this particular industry, most trucking companies operate the same. We all move freight from one destination to another. But what separates some companies from others is a company that is consistent, reliable, trustworthy, safe and obedient to the law. All these characteristics are what my company represent now and in the future. There are good companies and bad companies in every industry but my company will always do what’s right for our economy. A good reputation will always be what I stride for in all that I do.
