Timothy Patterson LLC M22000018760 | Government Grant Application

Timothy Patterson LLC | Application Preview

Timothy Patterson LLC is seeking government grants to expand its tailoring service in Florida. The funding will support the creation of Shopify stores and virtual try-ons, as well as the pursuit of partnerships with licensees and tailoring businesses for their innovative app.

The business plan revolves around collaboration with state agencies and universities to enhance service offerings. This includes upgrading to a "magic mirror" that provides augmented reality try-ons of pre-loaded garments in retail environments. Additionally, the company aims to sell American-made clothing in densely populated areas of South America while utilizing virtual try-ons to significantly decrease return rates for both online and in-store purchases.

The grant application emphasizes the unique nature of Patterson's body measurements solution, which stands out in the market for being the only app that can create clinically accurate 3D avatars from a single photo taken with any internet-connected device. Crucially, the app does not store any body data after measurements are taken, ensuring user privacy.

In terms of competition, the application identifies several existing services that rely on pre-loaded databases and bulky sensors, which may compromise user data privacy. These include Styku, Poikos, and Alton Lane, all of which use methods that involve storing or potentially selling client body data, whereas Patterson's approach avoids these practices.

The competitive edge lies in the app's ability to produce real-time, clinically precise measurements from just one image, enabling the creation of tailor-made luxury garments. Patterson also intends to expand into the healthcare and security industries once the garment service is established, indicating a broader market disruption potential.

  • Funding Usage

To scale my tailoring service in the state of Florida by creating Shopify stores/ virtual try ons and seek out licensees/tailoring partners for my app.

  • Business Plan

I will grow my by partnering with leading state agencies or universities to offer my service as well as upgrade to our magic mirror for store front and shopping malls that allow for augmented reality try ons of pre loaded garments. Moreover, I will sell American made clothing in population dense locations in South America and leverage the virtual try on to radically reduce returns from online and in store purchases. My body measurements solution is the only app in the world that renders clinically accurate avatars and measurements with a single photo from any device connected to the internet with an onboard camera. Moreover, no special clothing is needed and the no body data is stored, once the measurements are gathered for the service the body data is permanently deleted. Why store it when we get fresher data with the next picture. Our intrinsic value is self evident.

  • Self Identified Competition

Styku- uses preloaded data bases that can be rented for about $16000 a year and uses indexing and NOT uniquely rendered bodies they store data and probably resell it. My solution and my company does no such thing. Poikos- need bulky 3D sensor and uses pre loaded data bases to index store and probably sell clients body data to third party marketers Alton Lane: wildly ineffective body scanning booth using preconceived body data bases to generate measurements and probably sell body data on the local clients to 5G internet marketing networks We render in real time and to scale with clinically accurate 3D body measurements a single unique avatar that allows us to disrupt over 21 industries: with a single picture. Bespoke luxury garments and MTM garments are how we are coming into the market: the fact is I will pivot to the health care and security sector once my license are sold for my garment service.
