Funding Usage
We plan on expanding to a kombucha cafe, so the funding would go towards purchasing of equipment and contractors to install the equipment to serve and store the non-alcoholic beverages on site. The funding would also go into marketing to notify the public of the cafe being in production.

Business Plan
We plan to expand our retail to a wider array of equipment for the home brewer so that they can make better beverages at home. Many home brewers upgrade their equipment after a few years, and we hope to carry this so the customer can make the purchase without the wait of delivery. We also plan to expand to a kombucha cafe, which would bring in customers from a different demographic - but also expose them to the concept of DIY beverages that they can make at home. The global kombucha market size was valued at USD 2.64 billion in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.6% from 2022 to 2030. North America made the largest contribution in the market in 2021 with 47.8% of the revenue share. The regional market in America has expanded rapidly, with the drink enjoyed by customers who are seeking a quality, healthier soft drink alternative.

Self Identified Competition
Our only physical competitor is Panacea located in Wilmington, NC. However, they are in a different city, and county. With them being located over 60 miles away, we do not view them as a real competitor. However, we would be competing with the corporate kombucha companies - Health-Ade LLC, BREW DR. KOMBUCHA, and GT’s Living Foods - that are found in grocery stores. Unlike the corporate brands, we can offer customers a custom flavor without wait. We can also offer the option of carbonation level, as well as different amount sizes for the kombucha. Our kombucha would be younger and more fresh since it is made locally. We would also be using local ingredients, keeping our carbon footprint as small as possible. Since Braukorps is a home brew supply store, we would also be able to provide equipment and ingredients for the customer to make their own kombucha at home.
