Branch and Blade Brewing | Application Preview
Branch and Blade Brewing is seeking government grants to build a cutting-edge production facility and a secondary retail location, which would lead to the creation of high-paying jobs in manufacturing and laboratory settings. The business aims to increase its production capacity fivefold within the first year of the new facility’s operation, while also aiming to expand its workforce accordingly.
The plan includes the adoption of advanced equipment to minimize emissions, positioning the company as a more environmentally friendly player in a typically wasteful industry. Over five years, the production could potentially increase up to ten times its current level, further boosting job creation and enhancing the New Hampshire economy. The introduction of a retail location in the first year is expected to provide immediate employment opportunities, with plans for additional locations in the following years.
Branch and Blade Brewing highlights its innovative approach to products and its commitment to community support. The company has maintained all employee positions throughout the challenges of the pandemic and actively engages in charitable initiatives, including monthly fundraising for various local charities and a yearly event benefiting a partnered organization.
The business emphasizes its competitive edge lies in its genuine care for the community, contrasting with larger corporations that prioritize shareholder returns. Their commitment to social responsibility is driven by a desire to make a positive impact rather than for mere tax benefits.

Funding Usage
We would like to build a state of the art production facility along with a secondary retail location (this is immediate and more will follow). With this, we would be adding high paying jobs in manufacturing and biology (in a lab setting).

Business Plan
We plan to multiply our production by 5 times (just in year one of our new facility being operational) and our workforce by roughly the same amount. We would like to use state of the art equipment to reduce our emissions and become more eco friendly in an industry that is very wasteful. Assuming it will take two years to complete production, at the end of five years we can multiply our current production by up to 10x which will create more jobs and stimulate the NH economy. We also plan to introduce a retail location in year one that will provide jobs immediately, and we would like to add more locations over the five years. We're very innovative in the products we make and we're constantly giving back to our community at every chance we get. Even during and after Covid we were able to support all of our employees without a single layoff, host fundraisers for local charities (paired with donations from us to them) and we are starting a program in 2023 where we pick a charity monthly to help support and fundraise for. In addition, we partner with a local charity for a yearly event and fundraiser that draws donations and awareness for their cause. We know we would be nothing without the support of our locals and we're always looking for ways to give back and help our community.

Self Identified Competition
Anheuser-Busch, MolsonCoors, Constellation We care. It's simple, but it's true. We aren't a giant corporation with our sole purpose of returns for our shareholders, nor do we ever want to be. We don't donate just for a tax write-off - it's the right thing to do and it's helping people that need help.
