Funds would be used to secure a location for production. This would make more markets available to pursue and increase production capacity. Funds would also be used to hire a marketing coordinator, to continue to grow Apothecuryous' presence online and visibility locally.

Secure a separate production facility. Expand local retail availability to 20 individual locations. Transition all labels to include barcodes. Streamline available products to meet customer needs and stay within a target profit margin. Pursue brand placement with online retailers like Sephora and the like. Submit products for Vegan certification as available. Natural body care is a growing industry as people are getting more savvy about the products they use on their body, and the environmental impact of those products. Products have a high profit margin and it's possible to provide an excellent, clean product made without synthetic materials or fragrances, at a competitive price. Apothecuryous products are made with certified organic ingredients and utilize botanical extracts to augment the effectiveness of the product. All new products are formulated to be vegan, and free from Nuts and/or Coconuts as much as possible.

Self Identified Competition
Local competitors are Benson Soap Mill and Adagio. Benson Soap Mill focuses on bar and foaming liquid soap, and has limited overlap in regards to product line. Adagio also has bar and liquid soap, as well as other daily use products like lotion, deodorant and more. Most of these products have similar counterparts from Apothecuryous. Adagio does offer a line of household cleaning products, which Apothecuryous does not. Lush is an international brand from England that has a location in Omaha. Customers often compare Apothecuryous products to Lush, however I believe it has a lot to do with the black packaging and labels. There are some similar product offerings, like shampoo bars, but that is where the similarities end. Apothecuryous takes pride in committing to using certified organic ingredients as much as possible, whereas competitors have statements indicating that they use one certified organic oil, only if it is at a low price. Apothecuryous only uses Essential Oils to scent products, which makes them more appealing to people who are scent sensitive, or who otherwise struggle with the cling of synthetic fragrances. Apothecuryous is formulated to the highest COSMOS standard from Europe and does not use problematic surfactants like Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) like Lush does. This surfactant is Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS), but has been found to cause sever skin irritation as well as irritation to the eyes and lungs with prolonged use. This ingredient is often found in daily use products, so prolonged use is built in to the product function. Apothecuryuous products are made without the use of Formaldehyde, Parabens, Phthalates, Sulfates, SLS, and synthetic chemicals.
