Loving Neighbor Home Care | Application Preview
Loving Neighbor Home Care is seeking government grants to expand its services by purchasing land and building a home for mentally challenged youth and adults. The initiative has received state approval to create adult family homes and aims to provide 24/7 care while also generating jobs for caregivers. As a small, women-owned sole proprietorship run by a single mother of four, the owner currently employs 25 caregivers. She expresses a need for support to achieve her vision, emphasizing that she has reached her current level of success through hard work and determination, but now requires assistance to grow further.
The business plan focuses on collaborating with hospitals and agencies to improve care delivery while setting aside funds for land acquisition. The initial phase will involve constructing smaller homes, with plans for future development into larger facilities, including one dedicated to dementia care.
The application highlights a desire to make a meaningful impact on the community, particularly for those facing mental health challenges. Initially emigrating from Ukraine in 1989 and achieving her entrepreneurial dreams independently, the owner is now motivated to build loving homes for individuals in need, portraying a vision of community support and care.
In terms of competition, the business faces challenges from larger home care agencies and smaller local providers. However, Loving Neighbor Home Care's competitive edge lies in the heartfelt service provided by its licensed and certified caregivers, as well as the owner’s commitment to education and training within the community. The goal is to set a standard for care that can inspire other regions to follow suit.

Funding Usage
Would like to expand the business. Would like to purchase land, and build a home for the mentally challenged youth/adults. Governor approved to opening mental homes, it would be like an adult family home. Plus we would provide 24x7 care. Provide jobs for caregivers. Would like to ask for help from the city / government. We are a small business, women owned. I’m a sole proprietorship, single mom raising 4 kids. Have 25 caregivers working for me. Would like your assistance to please help me. I can’t do it alone, just with the generosity from the city, people like you. Thank you for your consideration. I’m also finishing my school for a PMP , project manager professional.

Business Plan
Targeting more hospitals and facilities, more face to face with other agencies and working together to provide care for the clients. Set aside money and find land to build the mental facility, start out with smaller homes for now, then a facility or a strictly dementia facility. I have the plans already drawer out for the smaller homes. Because I want to make a difference in other peoples life’s. I came to America in 1989 from Ukraine, and it was my dream to be a business woman and help others. Now I have achieved what I wanted, all thanks to opportunities that this county had to offer. I did it on my own and with no ones help, but now in order to expand I do need help. I very goal oriented, and I achieve my goals no matter what. Now I’m reaching for the stars and would like to reach at least one 🙂. I would be very appreciative if you can assist me in changing our county and help the community who have a mental health issues and crisis, get them off the streets and into a loving home where there is help. My company is called loving neighbor- because you have to live your neighbor - no matter who they are or where they come from. They are human - and that matters. We have to make a difference in our community, so we can make an example to other cities and communities. Please help me achieve my bigger dream. Thank you for consideration.

Self Identified Competition
The Key ( home care assistance) Even though I work with them, they contract out my caregivers for work. The rest would be smaller agencies. The thing with the competitors, it’s all who you know. Unfortunately, sometimes they are cut throat, and won’t give you a chance. The difference is the service that we provide for our clients we do it from the bottom of our hearts. All of our caregivers hold a license in Washington state. They are also CPR certified and hold a food handler certificate as well. I am license with Department of health to teach continuing education classes. I provide that service to the community and all of the surrounding agencies that hold Caregivers.
