In the next five years, Hairadox plans to support the community even further by increasing employment opportunities, hosting additional community events, and providing in-person education to improve the perception/acceptance of highly textured hair. We plan to expand from 3 current staff to at 7+ staff. Added staff would include greater diversity in licensing to provide a wider variety of services to the community. Expansion includes staff, work space, services, products and education. Future growth includes increased marketing and sales of our current product line and our online educational classes. Hairadox is a service disabled veteran owned small business (certified) that provides a clean, safe, drama-free environment to the minority community of Peoria, Illinois and surrounding areas. Hairadox has the only Internationally certified Trichologist in Central Illinois specializing in hair loss and scalp disorders. Our business model is sound and has allowed us to grow consistently. The online educational courses we offer are far reaching and includes international students. Our business model is sound and has allowed us to grow consistently every year. Self Identified Competition
Since cosmetology schools do not teach a robust curriculum for the handling and care of natural hair and locs, our competitors are not thoroughly trained and are therefore contributing to the epidemic of hair loss and damage that we are now seeing in the community. Hairadox is the only salon of its kind in Central Illinois. Hairadox has raised the bar for how salons do business including excellence in customer service, appointment timing, client retention and improved hair and scalp care. Hairadox is the only salon of its kind in Central Illinois. It has the only Internationally Certified Trichologist (specialist in hair loss and scalp disorders) in Central Illinois. We have a variety of income streams to include our own product line and online learning academy. The online courses we offer are far reaching and include international students.
