Funding Usage
I plan to open an actual brick-and-mortar store in my neighborhood, so that I can buy low and sell high in the store AND online. This money would allow me to open an actual store. I would pay 6 months rent in advance, I would pay off my truck that is used for business, and I would stock up on inventory to sell in the store.

Business Plan
I plan to open an actual store, and sell both online and in the store. By doing this, I am able to acquire more (and more rare) items, and I can sell them for a profit in the store, and online. I am a motivated individual who has worked in the corporate work (both as a COO and an AVP, Data Research) for over 25 years, and I now acquire all the skills I need to run a successful business myself.

Self Identified Competition
There are other stores like this in my city, but none are in my immediate area. Quake Collectables is located in Lincoln Park, and has been around for over 20 years now. The owner and I get along very well, and we do business together from time-to-time. Smash Toys is located in Niles, which is about 6 miles from me. He doesn't buy much, and doesn't carry much inventory, so I don't see him as a serious competitor. KAPOW is another store like this, but it is located on the lakefront (might as well be a different state). He is successful with what he does, and has been in business for over 10 years now. He and I get along well, and have done business together from time-to-time. I will sell both online AND in my store. My competitors do NOT do this. They buy and sell ONLY in their stores. I actually go out to acquire inventory, and it is successful already. I need a store so I can expand and have a "home base" where customers can find me to sell me items.
