Funding Usage
we need a new delivery truck. We currently have one but it is always breaking down. I would also be able to hire a delivery driver. My husband is 72 years old and he currently does our deliveries. I worry about him lifting the heavy doors off the trailer and also loading them. The truck breaks down frequently and also I would like to get another sign out in front of the store to make our store more visible. If I had more money, I also would be able to hire a full-time bookkeeper and another warehouse person.

Business Plan
I want to eventually sell cabinets, and have more trucks to deliver the doors to our customers in a timely manner and on schedule. I would also like to rent another space so I can purchase in bulk and save money so I can be more competitive with pricing. If we have a driver, a bookeeper and a reliable truck or two, and another sales person, I would be able to grow the company and even perhaps have another location as well. we have been in business since 2008. My husband and his partner started this business in 2008 and one other partner who they took under their wing, ended up starting his own online business called Discount door and trim while he was working at the Door and Trim store. Eventually he bought the building and after 8 years at the same location , the Door and Trim store was forced to move. I joined in 2016 and became a co -owner with my husband. We moved the business across the street and have been continuing to grow. I am only mentioning this here in an effort to show that we are resilient. I believe that is the key component to success. We can handle many challenges and learn from them.

Discount Door and Trim While Discount Door and Trim offers discounts that we are unable to offer at this time, since they took over our old place of business, they have a much larger property to store more doors , so they can order in bulk. However they are very busy and many of their customers come to us and always mention to us that their needs are well taken care of with us, we give them personalized attention.
