Keg Bar & Grille | Application Preview

Keg Bar & Grille is seeking government grants to support various upgrades totaling $60,000, which include a new rubber roof, air exchange repairs, parking lot and air conditioning repairs, kitchen hood reconditioning, and several other improvements aimed at enhancing the overall restaurant experience.

The business plan focuses on expanding the menu to include more food offerings, seasonal promotions around holidays, and improvements to the restaurant's ambiance through new lighting, decor, and sound systems. The Keg will also introduce new bar specials linked to sporting events to attract more patrons.

The grant application emphasizes the restaurant's resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting its ability to remain operational, maintain employment for staff, and increase sales significantly from $275,000 in 2015 to over $1,000,000 annually for the last three years. With a year-round workforce of 22 employees, Keg Bar & Grille sees opportunities for further growth by expanding its kitchen and production capacity.

The competitive landscape includes similar establishments such as Hot Dog Hut and Buffalo Wild Wings, but The Keg stands out due to its superior service, pricing, quality, and atmosphere. The application ultimately positions Keg Bar & Grille as a promising investment opportunity with a strong track record and clear growth potential.
