Hope Delilah Salon LLC 23006513 | Government Grant Application

Hope Delilah Salon LLC | Application Preview

Hope Delilah Salon LLC is seeking government grants to support the successful launch of the business. The owner, a single mother of three teenage boys, emphasizes that financial assistance would help her start without incurring debt.

The business plan involves beginning as a booth renter in a salon, allowing her to market her services and gradually grow her clientele. The financial relief from this grant would enable her to save money towards eventually purchasing her own salon and hiring staff.

In her appeal for funding, she highlights her determination and experience as a hairstylist in Georgia for the past eight years. Her goal is not only to establish her business but also to serve as an inspiration for her children, demonstrating that perseverance can lead to success despite challenges.

Regarding competition, she expresses a collaborative approach, believing that sharing knowledge among stylists fosters growth in the industry. Her competitive edge lies in her dedication to her craft, a strong client base, and her continuous commitment to staying updated with hair trends. She is passionate about hair styling and envisions a lifelong career in this field.

  • Funding Usage

A grant would help start up my business successfully without digging me into a hole financially. I am a single mother of three teenage boys. Anything would help.

  • Business Plan

I plan on starting out as a booth renter in this salon, market and grow my business. With the extra money I won’t have coming out of my pay checks (from not working in a commission salon), I can set aside to purchase my own salon and have employees. I am a goal driven woman. When I set my mind to do something I will. I have been a hairstylist in the state of GA for 8 years. I’m now starting my own business and I plan to expand from here. I want to make my children proud and show them you can do anything you put your mind to, no matter the circumstances.

  • Self Identified Competition

In the salon world, you can make other stylists your competitor or you can learn from them and help educate them as well. We all have a lot to learn from each other and that’s how we experience growth within the salon industry. I take pride in my work and it reflects. I have the happiest and most loyal clients. I work my ass off and keep up to date on all hair trends and styles. I also absolutely love what I do and will be in this business forever, even when I’m old.
