Nativo Colombia | Application Preview
Nativo Colombia is seeking government grants to purchase a larger coffee roaster, moving from an 800-gram capacity to at least 12 kilograms. This upgrade is essential for expanding production, which in turn allows for increased sales and the potential to support more families and create jobs in the thriving coffee industry.
The business plans to enhance its online presence and pursue direct-to-consumer sales. This growth strategy includes relocating to a larger facility that will feature a storefront for coffee drinks and related products, as well as selling green beans to other roasters.
The funding is justified by the intent to offer premium products at affordable prices while supporting small coffee farmers, including single mothers. The goal is not only to provide quality coffee but also to foster employment within the community.
Nativo Colombia faces competition from major companies like Starbucks and other local roasters. However, the target market consists of consumers who are willing to pay extra for superior quality. The business's competitive advantage lies in its commitment to community support and its vision of growth that directly translates into helping those in need. The motto, "the more I sell, the more I help," encapsulates the mission of this endeavor.

I am looking to purchase a bigger coffee roaster, the one I currently have is 800 grams capacity. I would like to get at least a 12Kg capacity, this would allow me to grow and sell more beans, while I expand and grow, I could help more families and create jobs in a industry that is grown year after year.

Self Identified Competition
My competitor are the big companies like Starbucks and other local roasters. However, I am looking for a customer that is wiling to pay a premium for a better producs. Because I am really helping the community and I am connected to people who really need help. What makes me different is that I am looking to grow and profit, but the reason for this is that I would be able to help more as I grow. I alway say "the more I sell, the more I help"
