Funding Usage
We are seeking funding to help pay for more Iron Workers to help complete the rigorous work. We know that if we could pay more workers to be on site, the job will be safer for all involved. At this time we can afford to keep 2 full time Ironworkers totaling $4,000 per week, around 120,000 per year. If we could employ 1 more ironworker, it would take some of the burden off of the other 2. Pro Dock and Door strives to be a family run small business who takes care of its workers like family. We want nothing more than for everyone involved in our company to be happy, healthy and successful. We need to be able to add to our team but at this time, we cannot stay afloat if we add to our current payroll cost.

Business Plan
We plan to remain in and serve the Western New York area and be a leader in commercial/industrial loading dock equipment and overhead doors. We hope to grow our work force and relationship with the Local 6 Ironworkers. Pro Dock and Door LLC is a team of professionals who have worked in the commercial/ industrial loading dock and overhead door field for over 20 years. We know how to make complicated projects work and thrive on intricate contracts. We have been in business for 1 year so far and already have projected our 2023 sales to be over 2.5 million. We simply need a boost to get through this beginning stage as we develop our workforce of professionals. We pay more than prevailing wage because our business model is focused on our people. We prefer to invest in developing our team rather than property and assets. We believe this will make for years of positive success for all involved.

Self Identified Competition
We compete with a few overhead door dealer/ installer companies in the area. However, we do only commercial/industrial work. The others do mostly residential overhead door work: Hamburg Overhead Door (80% residential & 20% commercial) Precision Door (residential) National Overhead Door (residential) The loading dock competition is mostly found in Canada, just over the border. The only company in the WNY area that compete with us in the loading dock field is Arbon Equipment Corporation. We focus on commercial/ industrial work exclusively. We specialize in complicated contracts that need an expert to review the plans and adjust the equipment for accurate installation. Quality over quantity. Pro Dock and Door LLC is committed to working with the certified and professional workforce found in Local 6 Ironworkers. We are committed to growing responsibly. Our number one goal is to develop a great place to work and thrive in Western New York. Again, we are at the very early stages of the business but our potential is infinite. We are confident that if we can get one more professional Ironworker signed on to our payroll this year, our successful future in WNY will fall into place.
