Words Welding LLC | Application Preview
Words Welding LLC is applying for government grants to enhance its operations and services. The funding will initially be used to purchase a multi-process welder, an enclosed trailer, and essential tools for demonstrations and teaching purposes. In addition, resources will be allocated for advertising, including business cards and flyers for local distribution.
The business plan looks ahead to the next five years, aiming to offer multiple welding lessons concurrently, particularly targeting local colleges and businesses that lack welding education.
The application highlights a unique selling point: a mobile welding service that provides lessons to individuals who may not wish to pursue welding as a career but want to acquire practical skills. This approach appeals to diverse audiences, such as farmers needing repairs on their properties or artists interested in incorporating welding into their creative processes.
Unlike traditional welding schools, which can charge upwards of $15,000 for extensive courses, Words Welding LLC intends to provide affordable, flexible lesson options. Clients can choose to schedule anywhere from one lesson to multiple sessions based on their needs.
The business's competitive edge lies in its mobility, allowing it to adapt and reach clients in various locations, setting it apart from standard educational institutions. Overall, the funding will help bring accessible welding education to a broader audience.

Funding Usage
MY first Initial purchases would be a better multi process welder, an enclosed trailer and tools to be able to show why they correspond with welding. After that would be advertising. I would make business cards to hand out and flyers to leave at local business.

Business Plan
Within the next 5 years i would like to be giving multiple lessons at once. That could be going to local colleges that don't offer welding classes or businesses to train new employees. I have never seen another another mobile welding service that offers welding lessons for your every day person to learn how to weld two pieces of metal together. Welding schools can be an upwards of $15000.00 for a three month class. Not everyone can afford that and not everyone wants to weld for a career. Farmers who'd like to know how to fix their own gates can feel competent when fixing things around their farm. An artist can use welding knowledge to make art for himself or to sell. The possibilities are endless and I'd like to be able to give lessons on welding to the people who only need one or two lessons for their own personal interest. A person can schedule from 1 session up to how ever many they'd like.

Self Identified Competition
Most welding schools are very expensive and span over a three month period. Im offering a cheaper option to learn the trade for the people who are trying it out for the first time or for the people who are taking a weld test for an employer and want to practice before. I'm mobile.
