One Eye Shutterfly Photography 9064822 | Government Grant Application

One Eye Shutterfly Photography | Application Preview

One Eye Shutterfly Photography is seeking government grants to establish a physical studio and enhance various aspects of their photography business. The funding will be allocated towards securing a location, additional training, travel, insurance, props, equipment, and other essentials.

The business plan focuses on growth in photography, with plans to create a studio that serves both the owner and the local photography community. This space will allow for teaching classes and providing mentorship. The owner has already invested significantly in equipment and props over the past decade and is transitioning to full-time work in photography in 2023.

Funding approval is sought based on the owner’s passion and commitment to the craft. Since childhood, they have felt a calling to pursue photography as a career. This dedication drives their desire to create memorable experiences for clients, making every session special and individualized.

The competitive landscape is viewed positively, with the owner embracing collaboration rather than rivalry among photographers. They aim to stand out by carefully planning each shoot and ensuring clients feel valued and comfortable during sessions. The owner emphasizes the significance of capturing fleeting moments in a busy society, illustrating the priceless nature of these memories.

  • Business Plan

I plan on growth in every aspect of photography, I have acquired a mentor, been accepted to a baby team with Ana Brandt. I’ve signed up for additional training and being more present on social platforms. In the next five years I will have a brick and mortar studio location that not only has benefits for me and my clients but also for other photographers in my area that need a creative space. I will teach classes and branch out as a mentor as well. I have invested thousands over the last 10 years in props, backdrops, equipment and I am now going into this in 2023 full time. I’m driven and dedicated, I knew this was my path since I was very young. I am not seeking anyone else’s approval (IE: family or friends) I am doing what I love and want to do for the rest of my life as my full time career, for me. I have always been creative and have a great eye for photography, art and helping others.

  • Self Identified Competition

I use to be afraid of competition but I recently had a mentor tell me thousands of babies are born daily, other photographers are not your competition. We need to support each other, their are enough babies for everyone. Create something that stands out and you’ll be successful. Thanks Ana I put so much thought into every set before my client even arrives. I listen and make every client feel safe and special at sessions. I love being creative so when a client has an idea I run with it and create the most beautiful set for that parent to be able to look and cherish for life. We never get these memories back babies grow so fast and we are definitely a busy society that having those special moments captured forever is priceless.
