Gable Mini Mart 014078277 | Government Grant Application

Gable Mini Mart | Application Preview

Gable Mini Mart is seeking government grants to fund a complete restock of its inventory, enabling the store to better serve customers by providing essential groceries and lunch options. The owner aims to ensure that those who can't cook for themselves while at work have access to meals. Additionally, the funds will help address outstanding bills.

The business has a five-year growth plan, which includes expanding the store to create a larger dining area, accommodating more customers who wish to enjoy breakfast and lunch on-site. Currently, capacity is limited to only 5 to 10 people due to COVID-19 restrictions, leading to lost business and the need to occasionally close early.

The owner believes funding should be approved because of their dedication to the community and strong relationships with customers. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, they established the business with a modest initial investment and prioritize trust and care in their operations. The owner has built a network of loyal customers, many of whom consider the store a second home.

While there are three competitors within a 10-mile radius, Gable Mini Mart stands out by fostering deep connections with its patrons. The owner is known for offering support to those in need, such as allowing customers to eat lunch on credit and offering tabs for purchases, further solidifying community ties.

I'm requesting this amount to fully restock by store to get my gas back to serve my customers to be able to buy enough grocery foods to serve my customers that aren't able to cook and feed themselves while they're at work or I can afford to buy lunch. And also to help catch up on some bills

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years I see myself expanding my store for more of my customers can sit down and enjoy the breakfast or lunch cuz as of right now I can only hold 5 to 10 people do to covet and I have lost out on a lot of business like some days I can't afford to stay open all day I have to close half of the day so in the next five years I'm hopefully to have a bigger business and making more money. I think the investor should invest in me because I care about the people I love cooking I was doing this for over 10 years when I started off I start off with only $1,500 to open his door and I had someone to keep me in a stocking for me and he gave me the money to put the gas in the store and I'll pay him back I'm a very trustworthy person I love what I do. All my customers loves me and treat me as family and I do as well.

  • Self Identified Competition

I'm from a small town so there aren't many competitions but there are three stores within 10 miles radius of me there is one call Barnhill groceries Porter's groceries and New Zion Mini Mart What makes my store different from the other competitors. I have customers that come shop with me faithful. Ive have grown friendship and bond with. When my customers comes in and they are hungry don't have any money to eat lunch I will let them eat lunch Monday through Friday until they get paid. If they need any cigarettes or something to drink I was set up a tab and some of them pay me back.
