Blueprint Basketball 0343582 | Government Grant Application

Blueprint Basketball | Application Preview

Blueprint Basketball is applying for government grants to establish a basketball facility for young children, providing them with a safe space to play and engage in the sport. The funding will be allocated for facility creation and necessary equipment, including basketballs, shooting machines, and training gear. The organization also offers scholarships to children who may not have the financial means to participate.

Looking ahead, Blueprint Basketball plans to collaborate with other youth sports programs to develop a multipurpose facility that caters not just to basketball, but also to baseball, hockey, and lacrosse. This initiative aims to attract kids from various sports and encourage them to explore basketball. Since its inception, the program has expanded from 96 participants in the first year to 142 in the second year.

The application emphasizes the importance of community support and job creation, underlining a strong commitment to local development. While there is one competitor in Vermont based in Burlington, Blueprint Basketball asserts that it has a unique advantage due to its community ties and organizational strength. As winter approaches, the need for indoor facilities has become more pressing, highlighting the urgency of financial support to secure a suitable location and continue serving the community effectively.

  • Funding Usage

This Money will be used to help fund a basketball facility to so young kids will have a place to play basketball. These fundings will also be used to purchase equipment for the facility. Basketballs, Basketball racks, Shooting Machines, Cones, gear, and more. We also scholarship kids as well who cannot afford the program.

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years, I plan to team up with other youth programs from other sports and develop a multipurpose facility. Baseball, Hockey, Lacrosse, and Basketball for right now. This will open up doors for other kids from other sports to try basketball as well. The program started with 96 kids in year 1, and now at 142 in year 2. Investors should invest in my program because we are a strong basketball program who is helping support the community and giving wanting to give job opportunities to others in the community.

  • Self Identified Competition

There is one other competitor in the State of Vermont and they are based out of Burlington Vermont but do not have the support that my program has. We should have private funding because we are well organized and give back to our community when we can. This year has been a difficult year as you may know but we were able to continue out program outdoors. Now that winter is approaching we are looking for a home indoors and found a place but just need the funds to support it.
