PCWS, LLC | Application Preview
PCWS, LLC is seeking government grants to advance the development of its patented energy-efficient building enclosure system (US10689843B1), which will utilize prefabricated modular components. The project is at a crucial stage where the company aims to finalize the finite element analysis and produce prototypes. The funding will be allocated to several key tasks:
1. Completing the finite element analysis.
2. Acquiring custom Glass Fiber Reinforced Composite parts to build nine prototypes.
3. Engaging a prototype manufacturer for producing nine wall panels for demonstration testing.
4. Hiring a concrete contractor and videographer to create the panels with various fasteners and concrete placement rates.
5. Analyzing the results to finalize the design.
6. Initiating the manufacturing process and resolving any issues before market supply.
7. Promoting the panel system at several international trade shows.
The overarching business plan focuses on preparing the panel system for manufacturing and marketing, including developing an informative website and hosting industry webinars.
Funding is justified by the fact that buildings in the US account for 40% of annual energy consumption. By offering a more cost-effective, quicker to install, and high-quality energy-efficient enclosure, the company aims to significantly lower energy usage.
In terms of competition, PCWS faces three established architectural precast concrete panel manufacturers, which typically have long lead times, require local manufacturing due to transport challenges, and need specialized personnel and heavy equipment for installation.
PCWS's competitive advantage lies in its short lead times, lightweight panels that do not require local manufacturing, ease of installation without specialized labor or heavy equipment, and adaptability to various field conditions. This positions the company to meet market demands more effectively than traditional precast options.

Funding Usage
Continue developing my patent US10689843B1 which is an energy efficient building enclosure system that will be prefabricated per project of modular components. I have completed the preliminary structural design and currently need to perform the following: 1. Finish the finite element analysis. 2. Procure custom Glass Fiber Reinforced Composite parts, adequate to build 9 prototypes. 3. Procure Prototype manufacturer to produce nine wall panels for demonstration testing. 4.Procure Concrete Contractor and Videographer to make nine wall panels with different fasteners and different rates of concrete placement. 5. Study the results and finalize the design. 6. Startup manufacturing of panels and work out any issues so that ready for suppling the market. 7. Market the panel system at the international concrete show, FineHome Building EPO and Building Science EXPO.

Business Plan
I need to get the panel system ready for manufacturing, and market the panel system at trade shows, develop a website with demonstration videos. Provide industry webinars to promote the product. Buildings in the US consume 40% of our yearly energy. By offering a more energy efficient building enclosure that is less cost than comparable enclosure, faster to install and higher quality we can reduce our energy consumption.

Self Identified Competition
Three architectural precast concrete panel manufactures. Precast concrete panels have long lead time, manufacturing plant must be local since heavy to transport, very difficult to install, need heavy equipment to lift, must have speciality personal to install and not adaptable to field conditions Very short lead time, manufacturing plant does not have to be local since panels are light weight, Panels do not need speciality personnel to install in field, no lifting equipment required, and extremely adaptable to field conditions.
