Eigel Agency | Application Preview
The Eigel Agency is seeking government grants to fund essential operational costs while establishing its business from the ground up. The requested funds will cover employee salaries, office rent, utilities, and marketing expenses as the agency aims to build a client base.
To achieve growth, the agency owner plans to establish a referral network by collaborating with local auto dealerships, body shops, realtors, and loan officers. Online marketing and lead purchases from vendors will supplement these efforts. The grant will enable the hiring of additional staff, including agent producers and customer service representatives, to manage increased phone traffic and appointment scheduling. Furthermore, a marketing specialist will be contracted to enhance both online and in-person visibility, supported by participation in trade shows and sponsorship of local events.
The agency owner believes investing in the Eigel Agency is wise due to its association with Farmers Insurance, a reputable 95-year-old company with solid financial backing. The owner emphasizes a commitment to building relationships and community engagement, highlighting their experience in sales and public relations.
In terms of competition, the agency faces rivals such as State Farm, Allstate, and USAA. However, the Eigel Agency distinguishes itself by offering personalized service and building lasting relationships with clients, treating them as family rather than just numbers. They focus on delivering value through customized coverage and ongoing service reviews, positioning themselves as a client-oriented alternative to larger call centers.

Business Plan
As an agency owner with Farmers insurance. I am reaching out to local auto dealerships, body shops, realtors, loan officers to grow a referral network. In addition to this we are marketing on line and purchasing leads from vendors. I plan to hire additional staffing with the grant to increase the number of agent producers to handle phone volume as well as as customer service representatives to set appointments. In addition to this, I am hoping to contract a marketing specialist to increase presence both on-line and in person. I will also be attending trade show, sponsoring events such as boat/RV shows, home and garden events, etc. I feel that investors should invest in me for many reasons including the fact that I am entering a recession proof business. Farmers has been in business for 95 years and has solid financial backing. As an agency owner I have access to sell many products including auto, home, life, specialty (boat, RV, motorcycle, etc.) business and health insurance. In addition they are supporting a small business owner that is looking to give back and make a difference in our community. I have the sales and public relations experience to form and nurture relationships which will be extremely beneficial in this capacity

Self Identified Competition
State Farm and Allstate agency owners as well as USAA USAA is a great company however their is no personal connection as it is a call center and you never speak with the same person when calling in. With the Eigel agency you will deal with a dedicated staff that knows you as a person not a member number. With us you are never a number, you are part of the agency family and will be treated the same as we would treat our family members. We get to know you as a person. We reach out to you on your birthdays, anniversary and life events and offer you the extra care that you deserve. Any of the agency owners at State Farm, Allstate, etc. can sell you a policy but we sell you service, expertise and customized coverage that fits our clients needs and perform friendly reviews with them every six (6) months to ensure they are receiving the service they deserve and coverages they need. We don't sell our clients on price we sell them on value!
