Sic Motorsports | Application Preview
Sic Motorsports is seeking government grant funding to enhance its operations and service offerings. The application outlines a plan to create a financial safety net of $1,000 and establish a zero-based budget for the remaining $9,000. The funds will primarily be allocated for necessary shop supplies, including oil drums for proper disposal and bulk oil purchases to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, the business intends to invest in auctioned vehicles, repairing and reselling them to gradually build savings.
In terms of business expansion, Sic Motorsports plans to hire more mechanics and establish formal employment contracts while finding a larger facility to optimize workflow. The ultimate goal is to launch a dealership under a new LLC, allowing the auto repair shop to benefit from the dealership's growth.
Sic Motorsports believes that funding is a worthwhile investment due to its commitment to quality service, a strong customer base, and experience in the automotive dealership sector. The owner has a unique perspective, having previously faced challenges with vague repair explanations, and aims to be transparent and detailed with customers about their vehicle issues.
The competition includes local businesses such as Felipes Tire Shop, Vega Auto Repair, and The Car Shop. However, Sic Motorsports distinguishes itself through five years of dealership experience and a reputation for delivering reliable, transparent service that addresses customer concerns effectively.

Funding Usage
With this money i would create a safety net of 1000 dollars and create a zero base budget for the remaining 9000. i would invest the remaining 9000 and buy shop needs such as oil drums to properly dispose of oil (as i go to advance and dispose of it currently) and purchase oil to be ready for customers instead of going to buy oil everytime and purchasing at market average as i purchase the same oil you would walking in from the street. profit margins are low due to not being able to buy in bulk. I would also purchase a vehicle from auction and fix it and resell it and continue doing this and slowly putting a percent into a savings.

Business Plan
With an approval of funds as stated what i would do with it and what it would go to i would then hire more employees (mechanics) find someone to make employee contracts for employment, while i have another mechanic under me that i trust, i would then search for a bigger facility to accommodate better work flow capabilites, sustain customer base while transitioning, hire more employees, once generating a good amount of funding i would also open a dealership under a new llc. i would then in theory be my own bank and my auto repair shop could take on auto repairs as the dealership gains traction until it is able to fund itself Investors should invest in Sic Motorsports because we strive ourselves on greatness and provide dealer like experience, we can do anything on a car besides collision repair and have an amazing customer base as im connected to a dealership (Honest Abe) with a plentiful customer base. The money would also go to an Indy native who went to Holy Cross Central and Covenant Christian.

Self Identified Competition
Felipes Tire Shop Vega Auto Repair The Car Shop what makes me different from competitors is i have 5 years of dealership experience and know how to give quality service as well as fix the car correctly the first time and not comebacks on the same issue(s). I've been on the other end of the table when i graduated high school, i had a honda and the car was having problems, the mechanic said it was x,y, and z and i took his word and paid over 1000. The car barely made it around the corner only for the mechanic to say it was something else now, from that day on i only worked on my car. Moral of the story i remove the vagueness mechanics give customers. im very tranparent with customers and provide into great detail as to what happened and whats the correction for the concern.
