We plan to expand our business by adding teepees and yurts to the property as well as bathroom and shower facilities Investors should consider us because we offer a unique private camping experience with no other campers visible unless group camping, where all you have to worry about is packing your food and clothes and having all the comforts of home when you get to your site. We are only five minutes from beautiful Lake Oroville and the Foreman Creek boat launch, eight minutes from Loafer Creek Campground, 15 minutes from gold country casino and Feather Falls Casino, 25 minutes from the fish hatchery, 30 minutes to feather falls hiking trail and so much more to do in the area! Out competitors would be other campgrounds in the area and the casinos there are also airbnbs in the area What makes Poore Mans Campground so unique is the location and our niche is privacy, convenience, and comfort. We are more than just a campground because we are offering glamped up campsites that have all the amenities of camping like propane, lights, heaters, fans, cooking stove, hammocks, etc. as well as the comforts of home like a real bed, furnishings, linens, dishes, coffee pot etc. All our guests have to do is pack their clothes and food and show up! We take care of the rest. Less stress of packing the car and unpacking when they get home. We will have kayaks, fishing poles to rent and remote control cars to rent with a track and an animal farm to enjoy. The property is rich with beautiful moss rock, oaks, and pines. Our campsites are also private and exclusive so you will not see any other campsites around you. We are five minutes from beautiful lake Oroville and a boat launch, eight minutes to Loafer Creek Campground with even more boat launches. We are only 12 minutes from the Lakeside market and gas station, 15 minutes from Gold Country Casino and Feather Falls Casino. We are twenty five minutes to the fish hatchery, and thirty minutes from Feather Falls trail head. There is so much to do and yet you could simply do nothing at all enjoying the peace and quiet while taking in the mountain View’s that surround our property and relax.
