Kneaded Relief Massage and Bodywork 92-1826417 | Government Grant Application

Kneaded Relief Massage and Bodywork | Application Preview

Kneaded Relief Massage and Bodywork is seeking government grants to fund essential equipment and complete its operational space. The requested funds will cover items like a massage table, various oils and creams, a towel warmer, essential oils, decor, and business signage.

The business plan emphasizes active engagement in social media, networking at local events, and public education about massage therapy. By offering services to local businesses, Kneaded Relief aims to promote its work through word-of-mouth and seeks to participate in community meetings and city council activities. A key goal is to provide affordable touch therapy services to lower-income individuals, with aspirations of establishing a community clinic in the future.

The request for funding is grounded in a commitment to enhance well-being through touch therapy, which the owner views as a fundamental human need rather than just a luxury. By securing the necessary funding, Kneaded Relief plans to create a safe and welcoming environment for clients while fostering community growth.

The competitive landscape includes established massage entities, but Kneaded Relief differentiates itself by focusing on therapeutic massage in a more relaxed and educational setting. The owner aims to build strong relationships within the community, creating a trustworthy space for clients to improve their wellness.

  • Funding Usage

I would use the above amount requested for the needed tools and to help complete the space I will be operating in. Equipment needed such as a massage table, creams and oils, table warmer, stones, towel warmer, room decor, essential oils, sheets, towels, business cards, business signs.

  • Business Plan

I am on ample social media platforms. I network in local events. I educate and speak about massage to the general public. I offer services to local businesses as a way for them to sample my work. Word of mouth is a huge grow for me as well. I also look to join our local community meetings and get involved with city council. I would also love to be in a place to be able to offer my services the lower income population. Touch therapy is certainly a need. I fully understand not being able to afford a need and what harm that can do to an individual. One day I hope to have a community clinic. I entered this line of work to help others in the simplest ways possible. Human touch and interaction. I truly feel the power of touch therapy is more than the luxury of a massage service. Human touch is a basic need. I would love the opportunity to create a safe space for anyone to receive that. I feel given the opportunity to kick start my business and work to make a growth in my community will benefit my town.

  • Self Identified Competition

There are a few massage places in Crestview. I would say the two biggest names currently are Adiva’s Ageless Day Spa and My Favorite Place. They are also more spa like and offer services other than massage. I am simply looking to offer therapeutic massage services. I feel my business ideas are generated around different ideas than a spa like environment. I aim to offer a space of relaxation, education on the practices of massage and how to improve overall wellness. I want to bring my business to people who have a desire to better their wellness. I want to build relationships with my community and create trust with my clients.
