The Hole Shebang Cornhole LLC 7967029 | Government Grant Application

The Hole Shebang Cornhole LLC | Application Preview

The Hole Shebang Cornhole LLC is seeking government grants to support its initiatives and grow the sport of cornhole within the community. The funding will be allocated primarily to venue fees ($500/year), prize donations for silent auctions and raffles ($1,000/year), travel expenses for hosted events ($100/year), tournament entry fees ($500/year), and equipment needed for fundraising tournaments ($500/year).

The business aims to promote cornhole, particularly among women, and to organize fundraising events for local causes and non-profits. They generate revenue by taking commission fees from these events, with plans to establish a sustainable business model through increased scheduling of fundraising activities. Monthly events, like ladies' night, are held to encourage new players, though they currently do not generate income.

The company's outreach is bolstered by participation in cornhole leagues and strong social media presence, with active connections in the cornhole community. A key reason for approving the funding is to empower women within this growing sport while simultaneously benefiting the local community through charitable efforts.

The Hole Shebang Cornhole LLC distinguishes itself from competitors, such as Sons of Pitches Cornhole and Full Send Baggers, by emphasizing community support over a competitive focus, which they believe aligns better with their target audience.

  • Business Plan

By growing the sport of cornhole, supporting women, and supporting our local community by hosting fundraising events for good causes (people in need) and non-profits. We take a commission for events we host ranging from $100-$200 per event and the rest of the proceeds go to the fundraiser recipient. If we can get a grant to help us start the season with venue fees and some equipment costs, we will be able to really book up our schedule and get some fundraising events scheduled! We will collect our commission fees and then be sustainable business after that. We host ladies night cornhole once/month to get new players to learn about the sport and build a supportive community. We make no money at these monthly events. We grow our brand by participating in other cornhole leagues and events where we promote The Hole Shebang Cornhole LLC. We have connections in the ACL, ACO, Major League Cornhole, and local businesses that host cornhole events. We have a broad range of followers on social media and that's our primary means of outreach at this time. Cornhole is a fast growing sport and women are a significant minority in the sport. We want to encourage women to try it out and have some fun! We enjoy teaching new players and we are comfortable enough to compete against the pros! The Hole Shebang is a great investment because we put it all back into the local community - running fundraiser events for local non-profits or people in need. For events we don't run, we will buy prizes to donate if it's a cause that we support.

  • Self Identified Competition

Sons of Pitches Cornhole Full Send Baggers Our focus is on our community: supporting women, non-profits, and people in need. Other cornhole groups are focused on the professional aspect of cornhole, which is too competitive to take on the market that we are trying to serve.
