JM Louviere Electrical Services LLC | Application Preview
JM Louviere Electrical Services LLC is seeking government grants to support various business needs, including advertising, tools, credit card payoff, insurance, vehicle maintenance, part-time employee wages, inventory, and other miscellaneous expenses.
The business plan includes hiring 5-10 full-time employees and acquiring company vehicles along with establishing a permanent business location separate from the owner's home. Additionally, JM Louviere aims to expand services to include air conditioning, enhancing offerings for customers.
The founder brings over 20 years of part-time electrical experience, having worked for others before launching this venture. With a strong motivation to succeed, the owner is committed to working long hours to assist customers and promote the business.
The applicant notes that there is limited competition in the area, as most electrical companies operate on a small scale. There is sufficient work available, particularly due to the frequent hurricanes affecting the region. The business's competitive advantage lies in its low overhead, allowing it to offer lower prices. Currently, the owner does not take a salary, only enough to cover daily expenses, which further reduces operational costs.

Business Plan
I’d like to have 5-10 full time employees. Company vehicles and a permanent business location besides my home. I’d like to expand into air conditioning work besides electrical to offer a better service to my customers I’ve been doing electrical work part time for over 20 years working for others. I finally decided that it was time to open my own business. I’m very motivated to succeed and I work 7 days a week when needed to assist my customers and get my business name out in the public

Self Identified Competition
None. In my area all electrical companies are small operations. There is plenty enough work to keep everyone busy. I’ve never encountered a conflict with another contractor. Work is plentiful, especially at times like these with hurricanes constantly hitting our surrounding areas I currently have no overhead. I work alone and take jobs big and small. I’m able to price lower than my competitors because my tools, vehicle and myself cost nothing. I don’t take a salary yet. I just take what’s needed to pay my daily expenses
