Camp Woodlands LLC 13236354-0160 | Government Grant Application

Camp Woodlands LLC | Application Preview

Camp Woodlands LLC is applying for government grants to support payroll and camp supplies. Since opening in February 2023, they have already served over 100 families and are seeking to expand their offerings to include field trips and additional staffing, aiming to assist even more families in need.

The applicant emphasizes the critical need for affordable childcare, especially in light of current economic challenges that make camp fees prohibitive for many parents. The camp operates at a school facility, which provides a stable location for services. By receiving funding, Camp Woodlands hopes to offer discounts to families facing financial difficulties and create additional income opportunities for teachers when schools are closed.

While competition in the Park City area includes camps like Creekside Kids Academy, Woodward, and Basin Rec, Camp Woodlands highlights its competitive edge through lower pricing and a diverse program for children of different ages. Their structured day includes a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, along with academic curricula to help students stay engaged during school breaks.

We have only been open since Feb 2023 and already have over 100 families we are serving. I would love to expand to field trips and staffing so that we can expand to help more families in need. I would love to have enough families signed up that we can afford camp discounts for families in need. As a working parent/teacher I understand there is a great need for childcare. I also understand that with the current economy not every parent can afford to send their child to a camp when schools are closed. I hope to offer this to families! As long as I have a facility to rent, which is currently the school I teach at. I want to offer care that is affordable to all families in need. And giving teachers opportunity to build some extra income when schools are closed.
