Funding Usage
I would like to hire 1 employee to help me when installing windows and doors in homes as this difficult task is nearly impossible to do alone. In addition, I would like to use grant funds to cover my overhead costs for supplies as I have been purchasing these out of my own pocket and this fund has been completely drained.

Business Plan
By expanding my residential customer base and hopefully adding another employee or 2. Eventually, I would like the opportunity to provide my services to the commercial industry realm. Because I am a Tennesseean, a true volunteer and a hard worker who is dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ, my family and our business’s success. When we are not working from dusk until hours past dawn, my husband and I spend our time with our 4 children volunteering at our local animal shelter and with local non-profit dog rescue organizations.

Self Identified Competition
Well anyone in the home remodeling industry in West Tennessee is a competitor to us. We are at the bottom of the totem pole, so to speak, given that we have only been in business for right at one year now (11/26/20 will be our 1 year anniversary), but three competitors that come to mind are Doug Taylor, aka Taylor Construction & Remodeling, who is a friend of ours and who has had a lot of success in our area. Doug does fantastic work but has had the financial success and backing to succeed in the home remodeling industry. Mike Measley with M&M Renovations, also a friend of ours, who does amazing home construction and remodeling work is another. He built his business from the ground up with little to no assistance and has done well but he has not been doing as much as he could lately and we hope to pick up his slack in our area. Third, we think of Elite Contractors (Scott Holloway, Eric Sills and Bill Sills). This company is a bit larger than we are but are the kind of company we strive to be and where we would like to see our business grow to in the next five years. We have done a lot of work for this company during the first year of our business and we admire the way these fellow Christians run their operation. We have learned a lot from them and are truly appreciative of their support in the industry. We are a husband and wife team. Where Brandon has the experience and expertise in the building materials and construction industry, Britni has the woman’s touch of detail and design. Brandon is the grandson of the late Mel Bratcher, who established and successfully ran the local business Jackson Storm Window and Door. Brandon worked for said business for 20 years, up until the company was eventually sold to 2 successive corporations, and decided to go out on his own by establishing B & B Services with his wife Britni on 11/26/19. Britni, a licensed cosmetologist, insurance producer, and paralegal by Bachelor’s Degree, is new to the home remodeling industry, but is no stranger to a little hard work and learning a new and exciting skill. Though her main goal/task is supporting her husband and performing administrative duties, she also paints and cleans on-site at many of our jobs, as well as provides design improvement suggestions as needed.
