Merrimack Mobile Medical Care 885964 | Government Grant Application

Merrimack Mobile Medical Care | Application Preview

Merrimack Mobile Medical Care is applying for government grants to enhance its operations and expand its services. The funding will be allocated for purchasing essential medical supplies, reimbursing previous supply costs, covering electronic medical record fees, ensuring vehicle reliability, hiring an office manager, and investing in advertising. This funding is critical for the business to thrive.

The organization currently focuses on southern New Hampshire but aims to grow its service area into Massachusetts and Maine over the next five years. Plans include hiring more healthcare providers and diversifying service offerings such as telemedicine, weight loss injections, membership options for repeat clients, and concierge medicine.

Merrimack Mobile Medical Care stands out as a pioneering solution in healthcare, addressing the unmet needs of those seeking medical assistance outside traditional settings. The business responds to the increasing demands faced by urgent care facilities and supports individuals, particularly the uninsured and elderly, who find it challenging to access in-person care. Since its inception in 2021, the business has encountered a significant number of patients in need of follow-up care after hospital discharge. By investing in this initiative, stakeholders will be contributing to the overall health of the community and alleviating the pressure on overcrowded healthcare facilities.

Presently, Merrimack Mobile Medical Care holds a unique position in New Hampshire, as it is the only provider of its kind in the state. The competitive advantage lies in its home-based treatment approach, delivering care directly to patients rather than requiring them to visit a clinic. The business faced initial challenges in establishing its structure due to the absence of a defined category for its services.

  • Business Plan

Currently, we service the southern New Hampshire area but would to grow our territory. In the next five years we plan to hire additional providers and expand our care into Massachusetts and Maine. We plan to grow our service offerings to include tele-medicine, weight loss injections, membership offerings for repeat client's, and concierge medicine. We are a trail blazing business - providing a solution to health care's inability to keep up with the current demand of seeking individuals in need of medical assistance. Urgent cares are often busy, with limited availability. There are many people who do not have medical insurance and are unlikely to seek clinic or hospital care for non urgent matters. And lastly, there is a large population of elderly who are either unwilling or unable to seek in person treatment for non urgent matters. Since opening our business in 2021, we have discovered the large population of patients recently discharged from the hospital and are seeking follow up medical care because they did not qualify for a home health nurse. Investing in us allows us to invest in the health of our community. For every client we treat, there is one less person in an urgent care, hospital or doctor's office. All of which are severely overwhelmed and overbooked. Investors should invest in us so we can continue to provide our community with this needed help.

  • Self Identified Competition

Currently, we are the only business in the state of New Hampshire to offer this particular service. We put a provider in a patient's home when they need treatment, instead of the other way around. We do not currently have any competitors in the state of New Hampshire. In fact, we initially encountered many challenges when starting our LLC, as there wasn't a category of business for what we offer.
