Tommy Brothers Presentations L.L.C | Application Preview
Tommy Brothers Presentations L.L.C. is seeking government grants to fund live performances by artists and bands at local festivities. The company plans to utilize social media and advertisements as primary strategies for growth. By securing popular acts, the business aims to generate excitement and interest in future events.
The overarching goal is to foster a sense of community and collaboration among local small businesses and the government. Through these partnerships, the business intends to promote local enterprises and support charitable initiatives, including scholarships for local schools and donations to non-profit organizations.
In terms of competition, the business notes a lack of direct rivals in the small event planning and promotion sector, with the nearest competitor being the local fairgrounds, which offers their own festivities. This competition can be mitigated by scheduling events on different days or weekends.
The competitive advantage lies in being an independent, small business that can feature a wide variety of music genres. Unlike the fairgrounds, which may be restricted to a single genre, Tommy Brothers Presentations has the flexibility to adapt the music selection to better reflect local preferences, enhancing its appeal to the community.

Business Plan
Social media and advertisements will be the main source of growth for my business. By getting larger artist/bands booked on a lineup, it will create more buzz and excitement for the business and future endeavors. My goal for this business is to improve the local community with a sense of "togetherness". By collaborating with local small businesses and the local government, I hope to help promote these small businesses as I am a small business myself. I also hope to raise money for charitable donations such as scholarships to the local school districts and to non-profit organizations as I highly admire the work these local organizations do.

Self Identified Competition
Being in a unique situation of being a small event planner/promotor, there is not much competition in this field. The only competition is the local fairgrounds with their festivities. But this can be easily avoided as a different day or weekend could be chosen to hold these music festivals. I am a small independently owned business, compared to the local fairgrounds near my area. I also have the freedom of choosing any kind of genre I see fit, as my competition is typically locked on with one type of music genre. I can adjust the type of music on the fly to help fit the areas demographic.
