Cameron Carriers LLC | Application Preview
Cameron Carriers LLC is seeking government grants to fund crucial repairs on its vehicles and equipment, which are essential for maintaining safe and eco-friendly operations. One truck requires rear end repairs, while the APU on another truck is broken and needs significant fixes to prevent idling overnight.
The business plans to grow over the next five years by hiring 2-4 additional drivers, focusing on increasing the transportation of materials and equipment crucial for various industries. Cameron Carriers aims to provide job opportunities for veterans, addressing the challenges they face in traditional employment settings.
Funding approval is justified by the founder's personal story of overcoming a modest upbringing and a desire to help others experience the beauty of the country. The company’s mission includes creating a workforce driven by veterans, acknowledging their sacrifices for the freedoms enjoyed today.
In a competitive trucking industry with numerous rivals, the company's competitive edge lies in the founder's background, including a double major in Business Management and Economics. This education supports informed decision-making and effective leadership. The founder exemplifies hard work, often living out of the truck to sustain business operations, and has a strong belief in the value of self-sufficiency.

Funding Usage
This funding would help tremendously to help get some costly repairs on my vehicles/equipment to keep them running safely, efficiently, and eco friendly. Rear end of one truck needs repairs. Other truck’s APU is broken and needs significant repairs (important piece of a truck because it allows the truck to be shut off instead of idling all night when parked).

Business Plan
Within the next 5 years I want to continue to grow my business by hiring 2-4 more drivers to multiply the amount of material/agriculture/machines around the country to keep industries thriving. I have multiple veterans in my family and would like to try and offer jobs to veterans who struggle with typical employment options (office/retail settings). I came from a very family oriented family that didn’t have much. We had the essentials but didn’t get the whole family vacations that all my friends had. I hadn’t been further than a few hundred miles from my house until I was 20 years old. Once I started my transportation company I was able to get out and enjoy this amazing country. I want to allow the opportunity for others to be able to experience some of the incredible scenery/locations this country has to offer. And piggy backing off my other response… I would love to be able to make this a veteran driven company because those men/women are the reason we are able to have much of the freedoms we take for granted.

Self Identified Competition
I would say there are endless number of competitor trucking companies. What makes me different from the other trucking companies is that I went to college and have a double major in Business Management & Economics. I understand all that goes into running a successful business and I do so by leading by example. I sleep in the backseat of my 1 ton pick-up truck 4-5 nights a week in order to pay the bills and make a living. And I do it with my 75 pound Labrador as my copilot. I have been told that I am the epitome of a hard worker and I like to believe that too. But honestly, I just believe that life is what you make it and I enjoy working and being self sufficient.
