The SBA microloan require a 20% down payment ($60,000). The Sanders Mansion & Event Center will work in conjunction with event coordinators, event planners, decorators, staff, and vendors that have the experience and professionalism to interact comfortably with our clients and the public. Whether hosting a small wedding, fundraiser, or workshop, the Event Venue/Reception Hall will be committed to providing a clean, accessible, and affordable facility that has a positive impact in the community.

The area of biggest growth in the event planning market is in the area of event hosting with a 4.5% nationwide increase by the end of 2020. The typical customer requiring event venue rental services is typically households working with event planners and decorators who assist them in organizing and promoting weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays, and other milestone celebrations. There are surrounding venues in Grenada, Winona, Indianola, and Cleveland, MS. Unfortunately, there are not many options that customers have in the area to choose from, especially upscale venues. The marketing strategy is to position this Event Venue/ Mansion as another leading event venue in Greenwood, MS. The first initial consultation will be in person at the venue to show customers the space, available venue amenities, layout options, and pricing. Once the overall vision is discussed and all questions are answered, the Rental Application and Agreement (copy attached hereto) will be completed along with the required security deposit of $250. The remaining payment will be due 10 days prior to the event. If payment is not received, the security deposit of $250 is forfeited. On the day of the event, the Lessors will be available to ensure that the reservationist has everything needed in order to execute their event perfectly. Once the venue has been inspected for proper cleaning per the Rental Agreement, the cleaning deposit will be refunded to the customer within 24-72 hours. 90% of events are held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This property distinguishes itself from other direct and indirect competitors because it is a historical house that overlooks the majestic Yazoo River. The historic downtown Greenwood area is thriving with various businesses and tourists.
