Neighborhood Tire LLC | Application Preview
Neighborhood Tire LLC is applying for government grants primarily to enhance their advertising efforts. The owner has existing profiles on platforms such as BBB, Yelp, and Facebook, but lacks sufficient funds to develop these channels further, as most revenue is reinvested back into the business for tools, supplies, and inventory. The funding would also be allocated towards acquiring proper signage and installing air conditioning units in the waiting room.
The business plan envisions growth over the next five years, aiming to employ three positive team members and move to a larger facility that can accommodate more stock. The owner hopes to establish Neighborhood Tire as a key tire shop for the Lincoln community.
The grant proposal emphasizes the owner's dedication, stating that their motivation is not primarily financial gain but rather a commitment to happiness, community support, and creating a legacy for future generations. The owner believes their passion sets them apart from competitors like Childress Tire, Lincoln Tire, and L and C Tire, especially in understanding the importance of quality tires for safety, and taking the time to educate customers about their choices.

Funding Usage
I would use this funding mostly in advertising. I have some advertising streams such as BBB, Yelp, Facebook but they are underdeveloped as most of my money goes back into the business to pay for new tools, supplies, more stock etc. I have remained in business due to great customers that love to talk. I plan to be in business and help our community as long as I can and hopefully for multiple generations. Funding would also help me get proper signs for my business as I have not been able to afford them yet. I also plan to buy and install some AC units for my waiting room but that is waiting for now. I could use funding in many different areas to help my business.

Business Plan
In the next five years, I'd like to have a team of great, positive workers. Three employees would be best for me, if things work out. I plan to be in a bigger shop by then so I can have more stock on hand. I plan to be a staple tire shop for the people of Lincoln. Investors should invest in me because my drive today, and in five years will be as strong as the day I decided to start my own business. Investors should invest in me because my heart is in the right place. I'm not here to make a ton of money. I know I could make much more money in countless other careers. I'm here to be happy, help others, provide for my family, and leave something for the next generation.

Self Identified Competition
Childress Tire Lincoln Tire L and C Tire What makes me different is my passion. Tires are like shoes that your life depends on. Picking up a cheap set of new sneakers may hurt your feet but a set of tires, rashly, or ignorantly picked, and installed could affect your life forever. I'm different because I understand this and take the time to explain it to my customers.
