Funding Usage
With a grant of $25,000 I would be able to secure a year long office space and focus my time and energy on my students looking to better themselves. By having a full time location, I can expand to a larger amount of teens and young adults currently struggling with mental health and life choices.
-
Business Plan
I would like to expand my services to school partnerships and share my SEL curriculum used in my programs. The goal is to bring on an employee to assist in the growth of the business. The mental health coaching I am doing is helping our local teens and young adults. There is a need for more resilience and coping strategies in our younger generations and my program provides the tools and strategies needed to become a more positive and motivated member of society.

Self Identified Competition
My competitors would be any mental health professional, although I know my coaching is different than their approach. As a coach, I take a hands on approach where the clients are completing an 8 week customized program of exercises and activities created for them. This is not talk therapy. Coaching fully engages a client who may not open up in traditional counseling sessions. The activities are created to move the client forward toward their intended goals.
