Moravia Store | Application Preview
Moravia Store is seeking government grant funding to enhance its facilities and attract more customers. The funding would be used to install air conditioning, acquire large fans, add children's games, expand outdoor recreational options, and modernize payment terminals.
The business plan aims to revitalize the store by improving entertainment options, offering consistent food choices, and possibly introducing an arcade to engage families and their children.
The owner emphasizes the importance of funding approval, highlighting that Moravia Store has been operational for 27 years without any loans or grants. She and her husband have funded its revival themselves and are committed to preserving this historical landmark for future generations. The store enjoys a loyal customer base, with many people returning and bringing friends and family. There is even a song dedicated to it, illustrating its significance to the community.
In terms of competition, Moravia Store faces challenges from a bowling alley, the newly reopened Freyburg Hall, and Mullins Prairie; however, the owner believes the store's long-standing history gives it an advantage. The unique atmosphere, enriched by nostalgic memorabilia and vibrant beer signs, provides a competitive edge that differentiates Moravia Store from its rivals.

Self Identified Competition
I would say my three competitors are the bowling alley , the newly reopened freyburg hall , and Mullins prairie . I would still say my business has years over them all and won’t keep us from any business I have memorabilia all over the walls in my store that make it second to none. The walls speak to you of who they have met , who have dance the old wood floors, and all the beer signs catch everyone’s eyes as they enter the store!
