7 Wonders Farm NA | Government Grant Application

7 Wonders Farm | Application Preview

7 Wonders Farm is seeking government grants to support its eco-friendly agricultural initiative. The funding will be allocated as follows: $10,000 for part-time labor to assist with clearing, planting, and watering; $4,000 for purchasing and planting 200 black walnut seedlings; $2,000 for two acres of pollinator plants; and $5,000 for labor and equipment to clear an additional five acres for new seedlings and plants.

The business plan involves acquiring an extra 5-20 adjoining acres to further develop timber, pollinator habitats, and meadows. The owner has successfully managed the current 10 acres for six years and has recently started planting trees and pollinators. The property is owned outright, with electricity available on-site and city water expected to be installed soon. The land is also approved for a septic system.

Approval for funding is warranted as there is little competition in the area. Local farmers typically cultivate crops on their land but do not focus on large-scale pollinator habitats. The farm's competitive edge lies in its commitment to sustainability and environmental friendliness. Plans include approximately 400 seedlings/trees and dedicated acres for pollinators, which will support local ecosystems and provide benefits such as clean air and future lumber resources. The owner, a 100% disabled veteran with extensive service experience, adds to the farm's community-oriented mission.
