Serenity Scout LLC | Application Preview
Serenity Scout LLC is seeking government grants to support the construction of a facility designed to serve food trucks and mobile food vendors in the Sacramento area. The funding will be utilized for tenant improvements, including the development of a commercial kitchen, scullery, storage freezers, refrigerators, and a food truck courtyard equipped with power and waste disposal. A solar shade structure will also be installed over the food truck parking area.
In addition to these features, the business plan includes the creation of co-working spaces for commissary members and live/work lofts for rent on the second floor. The facility also aims to expand services by offering wholesale food sales to its members.
The need for this facility is underscored by the Sacramento region's significant shortage of space for food trucks and mobile vendors, a situation deemed 'urgent' by the Sacramento County Environmental Health Department. Currently, the main competition consists of two established facilities, both operating at full capacity and providing waiting lists to food trucks seeking space.
Serenity Scout LLC's competitive advantage lies in its strategic location, providing easy access to major highways I80 and I50. Unlike its competitors, the facility will offer secure asphalt parking and a scullery for cleaning kitchen equipment, making it a unique option for food vendors in the region.
