Intrigue Automotive is seeking a government grant of $60,000 to support crucial business expenses such as utilities, rent, and inventory. The impact of COVID-19 has created significant challenges, particularly in getting customers approved for car loans, as banks do not recognize unemployment benefits as applicable income.
The business plans to maintain safe operations by ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly sanitized before test drives. They aim to serve the community in New Mexico, especially individuals struggling to demonstrate consistent income due to the pandemic.
The owners, a couple deeply committed to their dealership and the state of New Mexico, face tough financial and emotional hurdles. They even considered relocating to Georgia, where business conditions seem more favorable, but they feel a strong connection to New Mexico, which has inspired their aspirations. They express a heartfelt commitment to the community and a desire to help others succeed.
Intrigue Automotive emphasizes that they see no competition; instead, they prioritize community support and personal connections with customers. The owner draws from personal experiences of growing up in challenging circumstances, allowing them to empathize with clients facing similar struggles. This understanding is positioned as their competitive advantage, focusing on compassion and dedication to service.

Funding Usage
My plan for the 60,000 is to be able to pay utilities, rent and some inventory, the Covid has played a major part in conducting business, these funds will help us tremendously, it’s been very difficult to get people approved in cars being that banks do not accept unemployment as earned income but rather than assistance

Business Plan
We plan to continue to move forward in a safe manner, we make sure that all cars are sanitize before any and every test drives, we look forward to be able to serve New Mexico in these difficult times that are amongst us... we also would like to approve everyone for vehicles that are not able to show steady income.. so many people are not able to prove income because of the virus and being laid off Me and my wife worked very hard to start the Dealerhsip, This is our dream and we love New Mexico, but things have been so hard for us to the point we suggested moving back to Georgia and starting up there just bc there’s no shut down there, I grew up in Georgia not having anything single black mom raising 4 bad ass kids on her on, sorry for my language, New Mexico showed me you can do anything that you set your mind to, the thought of leaving it behind hurts me knowing that this beautiful state is the reason behind my success... I am at a point where I don’t know what to do.. financially and mentally I am broken... I pray daily that These hard times won’t last forever

Self Identified Competition
I don’t have any competitors, I want everyone to be successful and I am happy for everyone. I know how hard it is to run a business and the stress that follows. I’m sorry but I have zero competitors I pray everyone do good, I focus on myself and I stay in my own lane and wish everyone nothing but the best I pray different, I am hands on with customers and I relate to a lot of people that doesn’t have much, my mother was poor and she made a way out of no way, so when I see a Cusotmer that doesn’t have much to give I understand them, bc I grew up in an environment were we had to want for everything
