    These funds would be used for a down payment on a 'brick and mortar' events venue location intended on simultaneously streamlining and expanding operations. Our intention is to partner closely with the local community to create opportunities by hiring, training, developing, and retaining local talent that have not obtained education past a high school degree or its equivalent.

    Beaufort, SC is not only situated in an opportunity zone that happens to pull from the Charleston, Hilton Head, and Savannah market but is also one of the few historic areas in the coastal south-east where there are affordable opportunities for business development and expansion. My background in finance/accounting and career beginnings with medium and small sized businesses make me an ideal candidate for investment. I understand the impacts of operating metrics on financial performance and have developed the soft and hard skills necessary to build and motivate a team of professionals and retain clientele.

    Geographically speaking my main competitors are the Beaufort Inn and the Elegant Events Hall. Elegant Events pulls from a slightly different market and appears to target consumers interested less in a picturesque venue and more interested in a simple, affordable space. Beaufort Inn is a popular destination due to its historic architectural components but many consumers feel priced out of this option due to their requirements around room/cottage bookings tied to events. With several affordable hotels nearing their completion - there is great opportunity to have a separate events space that allows consumers the financial advantage of focusing their spending power on event related costs rather than costs associated with guest bookings. While the Savannah/Charleston markets are relatively saturated with event space options - their geographic locations allow them to book at rates well outside the comfortable price range of the average middle class consumer in addition to booking out for up to 3 years in advance during busy seasons. Our venue offers the simplicity of an all-inclusive events venue option without the customary price tag. We have partnered with a list of preferred vendors in the area enabling us to offer our clientele a limitless array of options through a limited number of suppliers. These partnerships create efficiency in both planning and execution and the benefits that come from having a mutually beneficial financial incentive to work together. We are able to provide our customers with the charm that is unique to the coastal south-east via a more affordable and flexible mechanism than they are accustomed to dealing with.
