Frontline Essentials 82-2938836 | Government Grant Application

Frontline Essentials | Application Preview

Frontline Essentials is seeking government grants to support the establishment of a storefront and online sales of tactical gear and apparel. The funding will be allocated for purchasing or leasing a storefront, acquiring inventory, covering payroll, and obtaining necessary office equipment and software.

The business was founded with the goal of delivering quality products to customers, and the plan is to expand once a solid customer base is established. Nicholas Keith, a registered nurse with 20 years of experience, and his wife Angie, a police officer with 15 years in the field, believe their professional backgrounds will help attract a diverse client base. Nicholas has prior experience running a successful durable medical equipment company in Lake Jackson, TX, and both he and Angie emphasize their strong work ethic and teamwork.

In terms of competition, Frontline Essentials will compete with local businesses like Cop Stop in Pearland, which has a limited selection and lacks a focus on female officers. The next nearest competitors are in Houston, creating a gap in the market. Frontline Essentials aims to differentiate itself by catering to all frontline personnel with an emphasis on gender inclusivity, ensuring that both male and female staff are available to assist customers. With the rapid growth of Brazoria County and the underserved nature of frontline personnel in the area, the business sees a significant opportunity to fill this need.

  • Business Plan

Initially, we started as a private company. Our intention was to bring products to our customers. As we earn a customer base that will support expansion, we plan to open a storefront and launch a website for sales of tactical gear and apparel. All munitions and body armor sales must occur at place of business. My name is Nicholas Keith and I have been a registered nurse for 20 years. My wife Angie has been a police officer for 15 years. We believe that through our contacts made over our years of work, our customer base will be plentiful. I have had success in running a small business in the past as an owner of a durable medical equipment company in Lake Jackson, TX. Both my wife and I are hard workers and do very well as a team.

  • Self Identified Competition

Cop Stop in Pearland, TX sales tactical gear, apparel, and body armor. Their options are limited and they have no female on staff to fit female officers for body armor, nor do they have any focus on female officers. We believe that our wholesalers will provide us with an edge. The next closest businesses to us are all the way in Houston; Fleet Safety and C&G wholesale. They also sell tactical gear and apparel. Frontline Essentials not only focuses on police officers but all frontline personnel. We believe that gender recognition is of huge importance and will always have females and males on staff to serve their needs. Brazoria County has many agencies and many frontline personnel that are under served, and inconveniently have to travel to Houston for most of their needs. Brazoria County is also rapidly expanding and needs suppliers desperately in this area.
