Minnesota Magic Basketball Community | Application Preview
Minnesota Magic Basketball Community is seeking government grants to support the establishment of a basketball field house dedicated to providing a safe space for young athletes. The funding will primarily be used for essential equipment such as flooring and hoops, as well as to compensate staff devoted to mentoring these youths.
The organization’s business plan emphasizes a commitment to public service by creating opportunities that foster personal growth and education through basketball. They aim to contribute positively to the local community by engaging youth in constructive activities, ultimately seeking to improve college enrollment rates, which currently stand at 33.3% for four-year institutions and 57% for six years.
The application presents a case for funding approval by highlighting the applicant's genuine concern for the youth. Aiming to increase local college enrollment rates by 3-5% through the activities their organization offers is framed as a significant achievement that could reshape the youth organization landscape.
In terms of competition, Minnesota Magic faces three main rivals: Prep Hoops Network, NY2LA Association, and EYBL Nike circuit. However, the organization believes it possesses a unique competitive advantage due to its young director, who, at 23, holds the title of the youngest AAU basketball director in the country. With a solid foundation consisting of over 250 youth athletes, 25 coaches, and 10 employees, the organization is poised to create a positive influence, encouraging physical activity and educational pursuits among young men in the community.

Business Plan
I plan to expand our business/ organization in the public service field. We plan to help create opportunities for the youth in order to have them using their knowledge and gaining knowledge bin a constructive way. Through the game of basketball. You should invest in me because “i care” not about my self but about our youth. The 4 year rate for colleges and universities is at 33.3% with a 6 year rate of 57%. If we can jump that number 3-5% based off the opportunity our organization provides, we feel that will be a huge milestone in the history of youth organizations.
