Funding Usage
hire additional instructors so we may expand services to those in need. We have a waiting list of individuals who cannot afford services, so we cannot generate income to pay for the instructors without additional outside funding

Business Plan
We currently serve approximately 20 families. With the addition of one instructor we would be able to expand our service to 30 families. With the added exposure we hope to attract more families that are able to pay for services, thus building the funds available to scholarship those without funds We are the only Therapeutic Riding barn in the west Alabama area that provides lessons for riders of ALL abilities. We are the only therapeutic riding facility that has a licensed clinical psychologist, a social worker and an education specialist on staff as well as riding instructors who are specially trained in dealing with physical and neurological diversity issues. We have a proven track record of success with our clients, assisting families with special needs members in preparing those members to live to their potential, many as independent and contributing members of society.

Self Identified Competition
Red Barn in Leeds Alabama is the closest therapeutic riding facility. Leeds is approximately 65 miles away. We are the only facility in this area. Although our nearest competitor has specially trained riding instructors, they do not have the mental health and education staff that we have at TROT.
