ISAR LLC 20247202DC | Government Grant Application

ISAR LLC | Application Preview

ISAR LLC is seeking government grants to fund their startup costs, specifically for raw materials, a 3D printer, workstations, and tools. The company's business plan projects initial sales of 1,000 units in the first year, with a profit of $50 per unit. As sales grow, ISAR plans to hire 5 to 10 employees and aims to increase annual sales to 2,000-3,000 units in the subsequent years, maintaining a profit margin of $50 to $60. Over five years, the total projected profit is $530,000, based on anticipated sales revenue of $1,625,000 after accounting for expenses.

The applicant highlights their background as a successful clinician and Army officer, noting their experience in establishing a physical therapy clinic in combat, which demonstrates their ability to succeed in challenging environments. They have developed a unique product that addresses a significant need in the medical field that has arisen since the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, there are no direct competitors offering a similar solution; existing alternatives are priced much higher and are not suitable for the intended purpose. The key competitive advantage of ISAR's product lies in its simplicity and affordability.

  • Business Plan

As sales increase I expect I will need somewhere between 5 to 10 full or part time employees. My unit sale goal for the first year is 1000 units. Profit projection per unit is $50. The goal for years 2 - 5 would be 2000 to 3000 units per year at between $50 to $60 profit per unit. Total 5 year profit projection is $530,000. The profit projection reflects cleared total after all expenses paid off, the total sales projection is $1,625,000. I have been a very successful clinician and Army officer with proven track record of success. In 2005 I was tasked with starting the first Physical Therapy clinic to an infantry brigade in combat, which was wildly successful and continues as that program continues. I have identified and designed a product that fills a huge need within the medical field that has exploded since the COVID 19 pandemic. I know that I can take this to market and succeed.

  • Self Identified Competition

Thankfully there is no other product currently available on the market that meets the need that I have identified. Similar products are priced ten times higher and are actually not quite appropriate for the task. The simplicity of my product and low price point make it unique in the medical field. The simplicity of it.
