Root to Rise LLC DBA The Sound Healing Center of L 1057795 | Government Grant Application

Root to Rise LLC DBA The Sound Healing Center of L | Application Preview

Root to Rise LLC, operating as The Sound Healing Center of L, is seeking government grants to establish The Sound Healing Center of Lexington. The requested funding will primarily be allocated for leasing or purchasing a suitable location, with a target budget of $3,250 per month, enabling a two-year commitment. Additional funds will be used for marketing, signage, technology, furniture, and equipment to enhance sound healing services in the Lexington, KY area.

The business plan outlines a growth strategy over a five-year period. In the first year, efforts will focus on creating awareness through a user-friendly website, promoting events, and building collaborations with other sound healers. Year two will introduce a retail section for sound healing instruments, addressing the lack of specialized retail in the region. Workshops will allow customers to test instruments before purchasing.

By the third year, the center aims to offer regular events and activities, fostering a community for the growing spiritual population in Lexington. Plans for a fully booked calendar of events by year four include hosting multiple sound healers and renting out the main studio for private functions. The five-year mark will see the launch of new services, workshops, and classes in celebration of their anniversary.

The proposal argues for funding approval by highlighting the unique nature of The Sound Healing Center, which will serve as a dedicated space for holistic wellness through sound healing, filling a gap in the Kentucky market. The center's approach is described as innovative and reflective of a growing trend seen in larger cities. With no significant competition in the area, the center's strategy to integrate various practitioners will enhance its offerings and potential for success.

  • Funding Usage

I am expanding my business to create The Sound Healing Center of Lexington. This funding will go directly towards purchasing or leasing a space for the center. With a budget of $3,250/month, I could lease a space for two years, which would significantly improve my chances for success. The remaining funds would be invested in advertising, marketing, signage, furniture, technology, equipment, and supplies to offer more sound healing services to the Lexington, KY area.

  • Business Plan

In Year One, I will work with my network of five years to publicize the existence of the new center. I will set up an intuitive and easy-to-use website for client bookings, schedule regular events in the space, and begin to find other sound healers willing to collaborate with me. As people migrate from larger cities where these services exist to smaller cities where they do not, I intend to establish a solid physical presence. In Year Two, or sooner, I will create a retail area for sound healing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, shamanic drums, ocean drums, rattles, tuning forks, handpans, etc. There is no established retail space in Kentucky that specializes in selling sound healing instruments. The center would host workshops and lessons to help people try out instruments before buying them. In Year Three, we continue to expand our clientele with weekly and monthly events. The events include drum making, drumming circles, and networking events for the growing spiritual community in Lexington. When people move to this area and are interested in what we do, I plan to be an easy-to-find and well-known facility. There will be custom merchandise as an evergreen, walking advertisement. By or before Year Four, we will have multiple sound healers in residence with a full calendar of private and public events. Our main studio will be available for rent for private functions, and as a former event coordinator of eleven years, I am uniquely suited to manage rental spaces. In Year Five, we will celebrate our anniversary by launching new services, classes, workshops, and more! As previously mentioned, there is no established space like this in Kentucky. The existence of The Sound Healing Center of Lexington will give Kentuckians a space to improve their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves. Using sound as a healing modality is cutting-edge technology, yet ancient in its existence. Investors will begin to see more spaces like this pop up nationwide as they already exist in larger cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sedona. Get in on the ground level before it goes viral, and watch your investment pay off!

  • Self Identified Competition

There aren’t any top competitors in the area. I plan to include other practitioners at the center to expand services beyond what I can do alone.
